Bad work hygiene

Bad work hygiene can negatively impact your productivity, and your health. It can lead to absenteeism, and increased stress levels. Poor work habits can also be contagious, so it’s important to be aware of them and try to improve your habits. Some common bad work habits include:

1. Not taking breaks

Working non-stop can lead to burnout and decreased productivity. Make sure to take breaks, even if it’s just for a few minutes - we recommend 5-15 minute breaks every 45-60 minutes.

2. Not exercising

Exercise has been shown to increase productivity. A sedentary lifestyle can lead to health problems, which can then impact your work.

3. Not sleeping enough

A good night’s sleep is essential for optimal productivity. Skimping on sleep can lead to tiredness and poor decision making.

4. Eating unhealthily

Eating unhealthy food can lead to energy crashes and poor concentration. Make sure to fuel your body with healthy foods that are unprocessed and low in sugar to keep yourself going throughout the day.

5. Not staying hydrated

Dehydration can cause fatigue, headaches, and difficulty concentrating. Make sure to drink plenty of water or other drinks throughout the day to stay hydrated.

If you’re guilty of any of these bad work habits, don’t worry – you’re not alone. However, it’s important to try to break these habits in order to improve your productivity, and your overall health.
